Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, data modelling, DAX, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have experience designing scalable semantic models, optimising reporting solutions, and supporting data platform modernisation and migration initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to deliver high-quality reporting and business intelligence solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Build and optimise Microsoft Fabric data solutions, including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Dataflows, and Semantic Models.
• Develop robust and scalable data models following best practices for performance, maintainability, and usability.
• Create complex DAX measures, calculations, KPIs, and business metrics.
• Lead and support data migration projects, including migration from legacy Oracle BI platforms to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Perform data model optimisation to improve report performance, refresh times, and user experience.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Implement data governance, security, and role-based access controls within Power BI and Fabric environments.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting across datasets, reports, and semantic models.
• Support deployment, testing, and release management processes for Power BI solutions.
• Document data models, reporting solutions, and technical design specifications.
