Location: Houston (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite/week)
Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas, including TN and E-2 (for eligible Canadian, Mexican, and French citizens). We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g., H-1B).
we are seeking a Project Manager to support a large-scale Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) transformation program for a client in the energy sector.
You will coordinate multiple Business and IT workstreams, maintain program governance, and help teams manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and deliver key milestones. This role requires strong project management skills and experience in energy trading environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate workstreams across an ETRM implementation, migration, or replacement program, maintaining an end-to-end view of progress and dependencies.
• Connect stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operations, Back Office, Finance/Accounting, and IT.
• Clarify ownership, responsibilities, and deadlines, ensuring teams have the inputs, decisions, and resources required to progress.
• Maintain program plans, milestones, governance processes, and risk, assumption, issue, and dependency (RAID) logs.
• Proactively follow up on actions and blockers, escalating issues and decisions when appropriate.
• Provide management with clear visibility into delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and required decisions.
• Prepare executive status updates, Steering Committee materials, meeting summaries, and decision logs.
• Build alignment across Business and IT teams and support changes in priorities, processes, and ways of working.
