Job Description
We are looking for an Infrastructure Administrator (Linux / Storage Administrator) to join Sopra Steria Polska and support the maintenance, administration, and optimization of enterprise storage environments for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of storage infrastructure, while collaborating with technical teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements across Linux and storage platforms.
The position operates within a three-shift schedule: 08:00–16:00, 09:00–17:00, and 12:00–20:00, plus on-call duties outside of business hours on a rotational basis, including weekly and weekend shifts.
Please note that we can only offer cooperation to candidates located in Poland who are open to occasional visits to our office in Katowice.
Responsibilities:
• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise storage environments based on NetApp, Dell PowerStore, and Dell Isilon / PowerScale solutions.
• Manage SAN and NAS infrastructures, including storage provisioning, zoning, multipathing, and file shares (NFS/CIFS).
• Monitor storage performance, capacity, and availability, ensuring compliance with operational standards and SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents and infrastructure issues.
• Perform storage configuration changes, migrations, upgrades, and optimization activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and technical teams to ensure reliable and secure services.
• Support Linux-based environments related to storage operations and infrastructure maintenance.
• Participate in problem analysis, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
