[EMN] Senior Hardware Engineer (3-month contractor)

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and validate electronic hardware systems. The role involves schematic design, prototype development, hardware bring-up, component library management, and technical documentation creation. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electronic circuits and create schematics using Cadence OrCAD/Allegro
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve electronic component libraries.
• Collaborate with PCB Layout Engineers to define design constraints, review PCB layouts, optimize component placement and routing, and ensure compliance with signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, manufacturability, and reliability requirements.
• Build up and validate hardware prototypes.
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct hardware verification and validation testing using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
• Create and maintain hardware design documentation, reference designs, test reports, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with software, system, and mechanical engineers during integration and validation activities.
• Support product maintenance and continuous improvement activities throughout the development lifecycle.
