Technical & EHS Lead

The Technical & EHS Lead will champion a robust safety culture and drive employee engagement across the site to achieve enhanced safety performance and cultivate a zero-tolerance approach to incidents. This role requires a collaborative, proactive individual who can partner effectively across all functions, adapt to the dynamic manufacturing environment, and own the development and delivery of a best-in-class safety training program and culture. While not directly managing a team, you will act as a key influencer across other teams, maintaining a hands-on presence on the shopfloor to ensure the highest standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• This is an on-site position with a hands-on presence on the shopfloor to influence and drive safety awareness.
• Cultivate a proactive and adaptable safety culture across all functions, overseeing EHS activities for the Zoeterwoude site and providing support/oversight for other Thermopatch sites in the Netherlands (Almere and Helmond).
• Develop and deliver environmental, health, and safety education and training to meet regulatory and Avery Dennison business standards.
• Lead incident investigations (releases, injuries, near-misses) and implement High-Value Learnings while maintaining EHS culture at a high level.
• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and repair work on plant equipment and systems, influencing technical teams without direct reports.
• This role requires travel for day visits to the Almere and Helmond sites approximately once every two weeks.
