Job Description
As our Production Planning Specialist, you will oversee a variety of areas in supply chain and inventory management. You will oversee logistics processes, conduct in-depth materials analyses, and make recommendations to support the overall supply chain and manufacturing goals for local operations. This role serves as a liaison between the supply chain function and business units to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics processes, conduct in-depth materials analyses, and make recommendations to support manufacturing goals.
• Participate in the process of developing and maintaining forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedules.
• Gather logistics data and monitor inventory trends to forecast potential challenges and opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement supply chain strategies that accelerate product flow.
• Conduct cost analyses, forecast demand, negotiate prices, and ensure compliance with Avery Dennison’s supply chain and inventory standards.
