The Product Team at Rubrik is responsible for driving Rubrik’s mission of securing the world’s data by creating products that simplify the complexity of managing cyber resilience across all applications and types of data. We seek to build consumer-grade experiences to solve the hardest and most complex enterprise challenges.

What Product Growth, Specifically, Does at Rubrik

Rubrik’s Product Growth team sits within product management and reports into Anneka Gupta, Chief Product Officer of Rubrik. Our team bridges Product Management, Analytics, and GTM Strategy to shape Rubrik’s monetization and business model vision. We are responsible for accelerating Rubrik’s business growth by identifying and unlocking levers across the customer lifecycle. Specifically, our team focuses on:

• Monetization & Packaging Strategy: Designing pricing models, tiering structures, and add-on packaging for core SaaS and AI products.

• Product-Led Growth & Adoption: Analyzing product telemetry and usage patterns to reduce friction, drive feature adoption, and accelerate time-to-value for customers.

• Expansion & GTM Alignment: Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, optimizing packaging for new market segments, and aligning product capabilities with sales motions.

• Business Operations & Margin Optimization: Evaluating product economics, cost structures, and gross margin trade-offs to support sustainable, profitable growth.

About the Role

Reporting to a manager on our Product Growth team, you will help design and execute high-impact business models aligned with customer value.

In this role, you will address top-of-mind strategic questions for executive leadership while having direct input into shaping your summer projects based on your interests and business needs. Past intern and team projects have included a combination of designing new product monetization strategies, mapping margin recovery paths, and developing internal AI tools to improve Rubrik’s GTM motions.

Responsibilities include: 

• Lead the execution and implementation of pricing, packaging, and overall monetization decisions across core platform products and new product initiatives.

• Partner cross-functionally across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering to execute and operationalize new business strategies.

• Synthesize complex data and market insights into actionable business recommendations.

• Be a "player-coach," guiding team members to improve capabilities and ensuring a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: MBA from a top program strongly preferred.

• Graduation: Spring 2027 - 2028

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing, product management, management consulting, investment banking, or business operations. 

• Domain Expertise: Ideally you have demonstrated experience in B2B SaaS. Bonus points for familiarity with AI or cybersecurity products.

• Analytical Skills: Advanced financial modeling, market analysis, and problem-solving capabilities; ability to translate data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.

• Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including executive-ready presentation capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

• Technical Curiosity: Passion for technology and willingness to delve deeply into technical product landscapes.

• Collaborative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across functions and levels of seniority.

• Execution-Oriented: Proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
