You will...
Install, integrate, and validate electrical distribution systems — wiring harnesses, power distribution units, fuses, relays, and connectors — across sensor, compute, and actuation modules on autonomous truck platforms
Work closely with mechanical and software teams to translate power and signal requirements into robust distribution architecture
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, shorts, and wiring issues on prototype and production vehicles
Build, test, and repair wiring harnesses to automotive-grade standards
Support basic mechanical assembly tasks (sensor and actuator mounting, connector and bracket installation) as they relate to electrical system integration
Support vehicle build, integration, and test cycles, ensuring electrical systems meet reliability and safety requirements for on-road use
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings
Maintain accurate documentation of builds, test results, and issue resolution using PLM/document control tools
Diagnose and drive resolution of technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams
 
Qualifications:
Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical/Electronics Technology, Automotive Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience
2+ years of experience with automotive or industrial electrical distribution systems, wiring harness build, or related work
Proficient reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Working knowledge of low-voltage vehicle electrical systems; experience with 12V/24V/high-voltage automotive systems a plus
Familiarity with NEC/NFPA 70E or equivalent electrical safety standards
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, torque tools, crimping tools, and test equipment (multimeters, continuity testers, oscilloscopes)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced prototype/build environment with evolving requirements
 
Bonus Qualifications:
Autonomous Vehicle and/or automotive industry experience is a plus
Experience with sensor and compute integration on vehicle platforms
Familiarity with PLM tools and document revision control
