Get to Know the Role
• We are looking to grow the team further and are looking for someone with a strong background in the insurance industry with extensive project and stakeholder management experiences.
• This role will be located out of Malaysia and will have three primary responsibilities:• acting as a key advisor and analyst for the Grab group's risk management using insurance policies;
• Manage Grab's insurance policies across the region, including procurement and insurance structuring strategy;
• Participate in key strategic projects for corporate risk management as and when they occur. This involves scope including but not limited to captive management and reinsurance management,
• You will report to the Head, Regional Insurance Operations in Malaysia and will have a regional focus.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
• Risk management, insurance placement and structuring strategy:• Work with key stakeholders across different business units to address risk and insurance requirements with Grab.
• Manage end-to-end process to place/renew insurance policies for Grab.
• Provide insurance and claim advisory support across different units.
• Facilitate underwriting process between business units and insurers/brokers
