Service & Logistics Analyst
Job Description
Job Objective:
Ensure end-to-end transportation and logistics operations driving superior customer service and on-time, in-full delivery. Optimize carrier performance and logistics flows through industry best practices, operational efficiency, and ethical standards, acting as a key liaison for customer satisfaction.
Main activities, roles, scope of responsibility and authority
• Follow internal work regulations and occupational safety requirements established by the company.
• Comply with and promote Avery Dennison's Code of Ethics and core business values.
• Apply and foster 5S methodology within the work environment to maintain operational excellence.
• Participate in emergency response brigades and/or health & safety committees as designated.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems (QMS/EHS), adhering to procedures and corporate policies.
• Manage and maintain accurate logistics, freight tracking, cost tracking, and customer order visibility across various reports.
• Monitor and manage carrier performance against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring prompt pickups, transit tracking, and on-time customer delivery.
• Colaborate and serve as primary operational liaison for Customer Service, Trade Compliance, Planning, Purchasing and commercial teams, providing proactive shipment tracking, accurate ETAs, and transparent order communication.
• Lead the resolution of logistics exceptions, route delays, transit contingencies, and freight claims to protect customer satisfaction and delivery commitments.
• Coordinates with other areas activities required to ensure shipping documentation, customs clearance processes, import/export procedures, and Carta Porte compliance.
• Be familiar with the documents applicable to the process.
