Get to Know the Role
We are looking for an experienced GrabForBusiness Manager, Planning & Partnerships to own regional planning and growth strategy for Grab For Business. You will translate market opportunities into prioritised plans, demand forecasts, business cases and cross-functional execution roadmaps.
Approximately 70% of the role will focus on planning, commercial strategy and operating governance. The remaining 30% will focus on identifying, qualifying and advancing a focused set of high-potential partnerships that can accelerate growth.
You will report to the Head, GFB Planning and Partnerships. This role is based in Vietnam/Malaysia, with regional travel as needed.
Your core mandate is to build a repeatable growth system across three opportunity areas:
• Companies with an existing presence in markets where Grab operates
• Companies planning to expand into markets where Grab operates
• Companies with significant outbound travel needs into markets where Grab operates
The role requires effective engagement with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders as part of regional planning and partnership execution.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
• Own the regional planning cycle, including market sizing, segmentation, prioritisation, demand forecasting and resource planning.
• Translate strategic priorities into 90-day, annual and multi-year roadmaps with clear milestones, owners and commercial outcomes.
• Build business cases that connect customer needs, market opportunity, product capability, investment requirements and expected GMV or revenue impact.
• Establish the operating cadence and single source of truth for pipeline, performance, risks, decisions and cross-functional actions.
• Diagnose performance gaps and recommend whether to scale, pivot or stop initiatives based on evidence.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Finance, Marketing and country teams to align priorities, resolve trade-offs and move execution forward.
• Identify, qualify and advance a focused set of strategic partnerships, leading the commercial hypothesis, value proposition, pilot design and performance review.
