BACKGROUNDThe Hans Foundation (THF), established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that works towards creating an equitable society to enhance quality of life for all through the empowerment of marginalized and underprivileged communities in India. The Hans Foundation works for the Health and Wellbeing of remote and under-served groups, with an additional focus on children, persons with disabilities and women. GENERALName of Position – Anganwadi Facilitator. Location of Job: Rewari, HaryanaType of Employment: Part-timers, on 1 year of consultant contract basisNo. of Position: 03Reporting to: Project Coordinator/Project Manager. JOB PURPOSE A dedicated ECCE/Anganwadi Facilitator with experience in field-level implementation, mentoring, and capacity-building support for Anganwadi Workers. Skilled in supporting play-based and child-centred Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) practices, implementing weekly and monthly activity plans, conducting regular Anganwadi Centre visits, and providing hands-on guidance to improve classroom practices.
Duties & Responsibilities:• • Provide regular field-level support and mentoring to Anganwadi Workers in implementing play-based and child-centred ECCE activities.
• Support implementation of weekly and monthly ECCE activity plans.
• Conduct regular visits to assigned Anganwadi Centres and observe classroom practices.
• Demonstrate age-appropriate learning activities and provide feedback to Anganwadi Workers.
• Support effective use of TLMs, toys, storybooks, activity kits and thematic learning corners.
• Facilitate school-readiness activities for children aged 5–6 years.
• Support monitoring and documentation of children's developmental progress.
• Provide ongoing handholding support to Anganwadi Workers after trainings.
• Support parent meetings and community awareness activities.
• Support children's learning exhibitions and ECCE fairs.
• Maintain centre visit records, classroom observation records and activity reports.
• Identify implementation gaps and share challenges and progress with the ECCE Coordinator.
• Monitor the use and maintenance of learning materials and child-friendly learning spaces.
• Support project activities related to kitchen gardens, infrastructure improvement and other centre-level interventions.
• Support ECCE coordinator as per project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:• • Graduate in any discipline. Candidates with a Diploma/Certificate in ECCE, NTT,  D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. will be preferred.

• • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in ECCE, preschool education, Anganwadi programmes, foundational learning, teacher training or community-based education initiatives.
