Job Overview: Payroll Expert in SAP HCM
Focused on handling and solving incidents from users and from HR Key Users especially supporting HR Key Users in preparation for and in conducting the monthly payroll runs. Furthermore consulting for new requirements around payroll and payroll regulations and implementing these requirements in SAP HCM

Capacity on expert level skillset for payroll in SAP HCM needed to support ongoing activities like
New implementations for payroll
Monthly payroll runs
Installation of Support Packages and SAP Notes
Key Responsibilities
Handling incidents from users and HR Key users
Consulting in the area of payroll for the region of DE including German laws and regulations
Customizing in the area of payroll e.g enhancement of infotypes
Schemes and rules in payroll
o Analysis consulting
o Customization and editing
o Creation of new schemes and rules
Modifications adaptations of customizing tables
Wage types
o Analysis and consulting
o Adjustment and editing
o Creation of new wage types
o Transfer to schemes and rules
HR documents with HRFORMS SAPSCRIPT e g payslips employee certificates
o Analysis consulting
o Customization and editing
o Creation of new HR documents
Support with performing the monthly payroll run
o Consulting the business
o Technical support for the business in performing the payroll run and re calculations
o Resolving technical obstacles to performing the payroll run and re calculations
o Technical responsibility for posting the payroll results
Communication with legal authorities. e.g tax authorities social securities
o Technical support for processes for reporting and providing information to authorities
o Analysis and adaptation of existing processes for communication with authorities
o Implementation of new processes for communication with authorities
o Technical support for interfaces communication with authorities
o Analysis and adaptation of existing interfaces for communication with authorities
o Implementation of new interfaces for communication with authorities
Statistical surveys in the area of payroll
o Consulting the business on statistical surveys in the area of payroll
o Implementation of technical options e g reports for generating statistics
Development of reports in SAP HCM e g ABAP programming
Implementation of SAP notes and legal changes into the payroll in particular but not exclusively for system patches
Implementation of changes in accordance with collective agreements and works agreements
Required Skills
3 to 5 years' experience in payroll in SAP HCM with implementations under German law and German regulations
Deep knowledge for payroll related Schemes and Rules in SAP HCM
Experience in facilitating monthly payroll runs
Experience with integrating payroll specific interfaces eg car management travel expenses regulatory authorities
Ideally experience working in an ITIL oriented operation environment
Basic knowledge for PA and OM
Must have Skills

Customizing in SAP HCM payroll
Customizing for wage types
