Job Description
The Role (What’s in the Box)
The Health & Safety Specialist is an expert-level contributor who owns the H&S; function operationally. This role goes beyond administration and compliance to drive meaningful cultural and systemic change across the Cloudberry site. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong regulatory knowledge, and the experience to independently lead complex initiatives — acting as a trusted authority for site management, operational leaders, and the HQ H&S; team alike.
What You’ll Do (The Recipe)
•
Lead and independently conduct thorough incident investigations with robust root cause analysis; own corrective action follow-through with site stakeholders
•
Design, implement and continuously improve the site H&S; management system in alignment with ISO 45001 and HelloFresh global standards
•
Develop and own site-level H&S; policies, risk assessment frameworks and safe work procedures
•
Proactively identify systemic risks and drive preventive initiatives before incidents occur — not solely in response to them
•
Lead and facilitate workplace risk assessments in partnership with the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC)
•
Build and develop safety capability across operational leaders — coaching supervisors to own safety conversations and daily huddles rather than simply delivering prescribed content
•
Track, analyse and report on H&S; KPIs (LTI, Near Miss, audit results); translate data into actionable insights for senior management
•
Lead internal and external audit preparation (including BSI/ISO); conduct spot checks and compliance reviews
•
Administer, train and continuously improve the site H&S; reporting system
•
Support and challenge HQ H&S; strategy based on operational insights from the site
•
Ensure compliance with Swedish AML, SAM regulations, and all applicable OH&S; legislation
What You’ll Bring (Your Ingredients)
Competency Profile
•
Technical Expertise: Deep, current knowledge of Swedish OH&S; legislation and ideally ISO 45001. Able to interpret and apply regulatory requirements independently and advise management with authority.

Investigation & Analysis: Proven ability to lead complex incident investigations and identify systemic root causes — not surface-level fixes.
•
Risk Management: Experienced in designing and leading risk assessment processes, not just completing templates.
•
Coaching & Influence: Capable of building safety capability in others without relying on formal authority — a trusted expert who makes leaders better.
•
Data Literacy: Comfortable with KPI analysis, trend identification and presenting data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
•
Communication: Fluent in Swedish and English. Able to communicate clearly and credibly at all levels — from production floor to senior management.
•
Proactivity & Drive: Operates with a prevention mindset and takes initiative without needing direction. Brings ideas and owns them through to implementation.
•
Digital Proficiency: Confident working with H&S; reporting systems, data tools, and standard office applications.
Experience & Qualifications
•
At least 5 years of relevant experience in an H&S; specialist or senior H&S; role
•
Experience from production, food manufacturing, logistics or similarly regulated operational environment strongly preferred
•
Demonstrated experience building or significantly improving H&S; management systems — not just maintaining them
•
NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent certification preferred
•
Experience with regulatory authority contact (Arbetsmiljöverket or equivalent) and external audit processes (BSI, ISO)
•
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
