At Pinterest, AI isn't just a feature, it's a powerful partner that augments our creativity and amplifies our impact, and we’re looking for candidates who are excited to be a part of that. To get a complete picture of your experience and abilities, we’ll explore your foundational skills and how you collaborate with AI.

Through our interview process, what matters most is that you can always explain your approach, showing us not just what you know, but how you think. You can read more about our AI interview philosophy and how we use AI in our recruiting process here.

We are building a world-class sales team, enabling our largest and most strategic partners to best utilize Pinterest advertising products to grow their business. Reporting to Nitin Kumar, our US Emerging Sector Lead, you'll be responsible for setting forth the overall sales strategy for the Financial Services sales organization.  In this role, you will lead a sales organization that spans multiple levels and functions (Sales Managers, Partner Managers, and Account Managers).  In setting forth the overall sales strategy for this industry, you will work closely with your team to drive consistent value for partners, and revenue growth for Pinterest.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the strategy and execution for Pinterest’s Financial Services advertising business in the US.

• Drive revenue growth across a large, high-visibility business while defending core banking and credit card relationships and scaling fintech growth.

• Establish senior relationships with client executives and serve as a thoughtful partner to C-level, marketing and operating leaders.

• Translate market dynamics, client needs and Pinterest’s broader strategy into clear account priorities, go-to-market plans and investment recommendations.

• Use data, forecasting and performance trends to improve pipeline quality, increase predictability and strengthen operational excellence.

• Lead, coach and develop a multi-level team across locations, with clear expectations on account alignment, performance and talent growth.

• Partner with Product, Measurement, Creative, Insights, Sales Strategy & Operations and Finance to influence roadmap priorities and deliver solutions for the vertical.

• Use AI to accelerate planning, synthesize client and market inputs and improve execution quality, while applying judgment and verification to ensure accuracy.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in digital advertising, media, platform sales or a closely related industry.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading managers and multi-level teams.

• Experience in Financial Services, with knowledge of advertiser needs across banking, credit cards, payments, lending, insurance, wealth or fintech.

• Experience in revenue strategy, business planning, forecasting and pipeline management for a large-scale sales organization.

• Experience in building relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal executives and influencing decisions across cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated experience using AI to improve speed and quality in planning, analysis, communication or other day-to-day workflow outputs relevant to this role.

• Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work, including validating accuracy, quality and business relevance before action is taken.

• High integrity and ownership, including sound judgment with sensitive data, accountability for final decisions and a collaborative leadership approach that develops inclusive, high-performing teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Relocation Statement:

In-Office Requirement Statement:

• We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.

• This role requires the individual to be in person at least 2 days per week, either meeting with clients or collaborating with teammates in the Pinterest New York or Chicago offices.
