Position Overview:
Beam is looking for a highly talented and motivated Alliance Management Co-op to join our Alliance Management team working on Alliance Management activities as part of the Business Development group, from January through June 2027. The Alliance Management Co-op will be a key contributor in maintaining strategic alliances at Beam, including foundational licenses, collaborations, and enabling licenses. This person will contribute to the operational excellence in alliance management through the development and implementation of strategic continuous improvement initiatives within Alliance Management and in collaboration with various functional areas. This role will add capabilities aimed at ensuring that Beam has productive and successful alliances that support our company strategy and mission.
Responsibilities:
• Support the development of tools to improve efficiencies of day-to-day Alliance Management business processes by improving and integrating systems to monitor and track compliance with contractual obligations, using AI or other approaches.
• Support the development of tools to enable strategic analysis of alliance management workflows and decision-making processes, using AI or other approaches.
• Assist with monitoring and actions for compliance with contractual obligations for strategic alliances in the alliance portfolio, as needed.
• Participate in strategic discussions related to management of a dynamic and growing strategic alliance portfolio.
Qualifications:
• BS/BA required; currently pursuing an MS, MBA, or PhD.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and AI, proficiency in Copilot is a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with strong problem-solving skills and sound business judgment.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
• Strong interest in science and drug development, with the ability to learn and apply complex concepts.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree-granting college or university program and maintain their student status throughout the duration of the co-op to be eligible.
Hourly pay will will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
Co-op Hourly Pay Range$30—$37 USD
