About the Team
Okta’s Deal Operations Team is the central engine driving commercial contracts to closure by providing the global field organization with business process insight, policy guardrails, and tactical deal execution. We sit within the GTM Strategy & Operations organization, acting as a critical front-line partner to support Okta’s revenue goals, marketplace expansions, and future-state AI workflows.
Position Description
As part of the Sustainability and Responsible Technology team, you will act as the foundational support layer for Sustainability & Responsible Technology customer and investor requests within the Deal Operations team. In today’s B2B landscape, Sustainability is no longer just a compliance checklist—it is a critical commercial gatekeeper and sales enabler. You will focus on generating accurate, audit-ready answers, stakeholder management with subject-matter experts (SMEs), and navigating various data sources to ensure Okta remains a highly compliant and competitive partner.
This role is best suited for an individual who has previous experience in Sustainability & Responsible Technology, sales operations, strategic response software with RFPIO, or customer support roles. The ideal candidate is familiar with Salesforce CPQ and/or subscription management tools, understands the growing impact of global Sustainability regulations (such as the CSRD and supply chain transparency requirements), and is interested in working within systems to manage processes that affect multiple teams.
Responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Sales Enablement & RFP Support: Support the Sales team by providing strategic guidance on the Sustainability & Responsible Technology aspects of deals. Respond to increasingly rigorous customer sustainability questionnaires and RFPs using public sustainability disclosures and internal FAQs housed in RFPIO, while advising on standard terms.
• Deal Management: Manage and operationalize deals that include complex Sustainability, and Responsible Technology topics (such as AI ethics, data privacy, and energy-efficient IT infrastructure).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the core Sustainability team to ensure the accurate, data-driven representation of Okta’s Sustainability and Responsible Technology initiatives to enterprise buyers.
• Accurate Reporting Capabilities: Utilize various metric tracking systems to provide robust and accurate data sets around customer requests each quarter and fiscal year.
• Process Optimization: Participate in team projects and initiatives to enhance the sales cycle, streamline sustainability & responsible technology data delivery, and proactively tailor sustainability narratives to align with the specific priorities of our diverse client base.

• Proficient in written and verbal communication in English
