Job Description

Scopely is looking for a Senior Art Manager to join the Monopoly GO! team.

At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day, whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing, and innovating in the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

Monopoly GO! is our newest casual game and a flagship franchise, enjoyed by millions worldwide. The team is based in Europe and the US and works daily to create captivating new experiences for our players.

Role Overview

Every new Monopoly GO! season starts with possibilities: a character that doesn't exist yet, a world waiting to be imagined, or a reward players haven't seen before. As a 2D Artist, you'll help turn those possibilities into the visual ideas that give each season its identity and guide the artists who bring them into the game.

Growing as an artist means growing how you work, not just what you can create. You'll be expected to build fluency with AI and emerging tools alongside strong 2D fundamentals, learning where they accelerate exploration, improve iteration, and help you produce better work.

You'll have experienced artists around you to learn from, but plenty of opportunity to develop your own judgment and approach. If you're looking for more creative challenges, more chances to stretch your skills, and the support to turn strong fundamentals into a broader and more confident craft, you'll find plenty of room to grow here

Responsibilities

• Deliver 2D concepts and production art within Monopoly GO!'s established art style, working closely with a Senior artist for guidance and refinement.

• Apply AI-assisted tools within your 2D workflow, using sound judgment to identify where they improve quality, iteration, or efficiency.

• Research and reference material to support idea generation on your assigned briefs.

• Give clear feedback when asked, and surface blockers early to keep your tasks on track.

• Collaborate with your immediate pod, the broader art team, and narrative/design partners on assigned features.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a 2D/concept artist working in games.

• Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted tools relevant to 2D production, with experience applying them to real production tasks while maintaining quality.

• Ability to design whimsical characters, environments, and props according to established art direction.

• Strong art fundamentals (composition, scale, perspective, rendering, color, form), backed by proficiency in Photoshop and familiarity with 3D modeling and animation principles.

• Excellent written, verbal, and team communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
